ARCHITECTURAL SALES

DESCRIPTION

We currently have opportunities for a Architectural Sales Professionals based in Toronto, New York and San Francisco to join our sales team.  This position plays a key role in initiating new business ventures and developing viable client relationships with the Retail Community.  The successful candidate will proactively seek and engage potential leads, identify areas where Eventscape can add value, and be expected to generate $2 to $5 million annually in new client sales.

In addition to being a highly personable and results-driven sales executive, the ideal candidate will have firsthand experience in custom fabrication and past success selling to architects, designers, developers, and/or contractors. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the ongoing prospecting process, using the appropriate amount of time and resources, to gauge the long-term fit and financial possibilities of potential clients.
  • Research potential construction projects, introduce our capabilities and portfolio to key decision makers through meetings and Lunch & Learn programs, and effectively communicate where and how Eventscape will add value.
  • Handle incoming inquiries from retailers, developers, architects and designers and determine their needs, provide estimates, sample materials and solutions based on individual project requirements.
  • Coordinate with in-house estimators, project managers, designers, and detailers to develop ideas and provide in-depth customer solutions.
  • Travel as required to follow up on leads, deliver presentations, and liaise with clients.

 

EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES:

Educational, Professional and Technical Requirements

 

  • Minimum 5 years of architectural experience in a sales/business development capacity
  • Past sales experience selling custom millwork and/or metal fabrication
  • Must be technically proficient and knowledgeable with custom fabrication, building materials, and relevant regulatory codes
  • Ability to read architectural and shop drawings
  • Working knowledge of AutoCad and MS Office
  • The ability to quickly differentiate a strong sales lead from a weak one
  • Existing contacts in relevant markets will be considered a major asset
